Volunteer Opportunity with MCYD: Help Support MarinKids on March 30th!

Volunteer with Marin County Young Democrats!

MarinKids has teamed up to co-host the first annual Marin County Swim to benefit MarinKids on Saturday March 30th at McNears Beach County Park in San Rafael. The event coincides with the Marin Half Marathon at McNears in the morning, also hosted by Sustainable Sports Foundation and benefitting the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund. The events will be linked by a free and family-friendly Healthy Eating Active Living Expo & Kids’ Zone from 8am to 4pm. The Swim will raise money to provide children from low-income families the opportunity to learn to swim and will support MarinKids’ efforts to prevent childhood obesity, close the achievement gap, and ensure healthcare for all children in Marin. There are lots of great ways to get involved — you can volunteer, donate, & of course swim, or just bring the family out for a full day of fun in the sun.
